Inspirations for the House and Garden

Vietnam was a gold mine of home and outside accessories with real panache, such as wrought iron garden furniture, absolutely delightful tables with terracotta mosaic tops for indoors or outdoors. Also from Vietnam is a plethora of stunning zinc pots in grey / blacks or bronze coming in a variety of sizes from tiny to huge. No matter their size, these remarkable pots give that instant designer look that is very now. The Courtyard even found some perfect pots for water lilies. Vietnam also offered lovely embroidered table runners in high quality silk taffeta as well as some superb candlesticks made of glass and wrought iron.
Thailand was another major stop on The Courtyard international foray. Exceptional quality teak and other tropical hardwood furniture, including Courtyard signature range of romantic beds some of which are four-poster, wood carvings and magnificent ceramic pots designed for both the outside and indoors décor.
Indonesia was also a bounty of booty. The Courtyard managed to source some really unique reclaimed teak furniture that is inlaid with sand stone panels – breathtaking and different! But it is the amazing mirrors made of coconut inlay (large and medium sizes) that will certainly set your ambience aglow.

Sourced from all over South East Asia, these pots, urns and jars exude style, beauty and grandeur. Most pots are made using methods unchanged for many generations. Made from a variety of clays, and stone, the larger pots are usually built in stages, some requiring as much as 11 stages and can take up 30 days to complete.
