The IndoChine tradition is spreading around Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with the
establishment of Bar SaVanh and CoChine Restaurant + Lounge and Cochine Bistrot + Alfresco & Bar Savanh Too. Eight Cambodian
sandstone sculptures flank the entrance and the entire space reflects the intricate
ecosystem of a rainforest. An atrium ceiling provides light for the banyan tree that
grows in the middle of the bar and a waterfall completes the scene. On the way into
the bar, you walk over a fish pond that gives a sense of tranquility to the place.
IndoChine adds layers of ambiance with candles and incense, lit every evening as a
prelude to music spun by the resident DJs.
With a menu not found anywhere outside the streets of Phnom Penh, Vientiane or
Luang Phrabang, the restaurant offers the exciting tastes of unique herbs and spices
in a wide selection of traditionally prepared Indochinese dishes from the Delta Trinity.
